I'm still searching for the perfect word that describes Avett. He has so many of my weaknesses which scares me, but he also has a lot of Brett's strengths which surprises me.

He literally can't get mad. When he tries to make a mad face he just starts cracking up. He is an engineer. He loves putting things together and figuring out how things work. He matches jigsaw puzzle pieces together based on their color and he enjoys making his own peanut butter and jelly sandwiches for himself and Sanders for lunch. He laughs out loud when he watches movies and talks in his outdoor voice in movie theatres.

He is afraid of getting white hair when he turns older and he thinks Jesus is perfect like Daniel Tiger. He wonders if bugs like gum and if it's ok to eat the air outside. He thinks popcorn pops because it's scared. He tells me mommies don't burp and he forgets that "mimmies" are actually called "mummies."

He hates it when people are upset. When Cohen cries he will talk to him and sing him songs. He loves to hold Cohen. Avett doesn't believe in personal boundaries or walking slow.

I felt him moving for the first time when he was 10 weeks along in my tummy and his movement hasn't stopped since. He is energy. He is love. He is my reminder that we can be happy no matter what.
